Circa Blue

While circus isn’t exactly the word we’d use to describe our band (although we sure know how to have fun),“Circa Blue” is the perfect description of what we represent. We are “about” bluegrass ... not completely traditional, not completely new grass. We strive to be unique and entertaining to all audiences, so everyone will discover something they enjoy. Tight vocal harmonies, clean instrumentation, and creative arrangements keep audience tapping their toes or dancing in their seats ...whichever they prefer. The band is comprised of Steve Harris on guitar, Dave Harris on bass, Matt Hickman on banjo, and Ron Webb on mandolin. Our self-titled debut CD was released in February 2012,composed of five original tunes and five covers played Circa Blue style. The album features the talents of Mike Auldridge on dobro and Chris Sexton on fiddle. The CD has received great reviews from Bluegrass Unlimited and Bluegrass Today, and is getting airplay from DJ's throughout the US and abroad.

Tussey Mountain Moonshiners

We're the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners. Hailing from from Central Pennsylvania, our music honors the bluegrass traditions of the region, served up in our own special sauce. Our musical style ranges from a blend of traditional to Americana, accompanied with a dash of old time, and spiced with a captivating mix of unique, original songs. Our on stage chemistry, amplified by the fun and strong connection we share with our audience makes a Moonshiners show an experience not to be missed!

We are the winners of the 2010 DelFest Bluegrass Band Competition, and Bluegrass Unlimited had this to say about our debut album, I’m Going Home: “… the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners exude rich talent, enthusiasm, energy, and a wide knowledge of string music… Every single cut proves enjoyable ... With admirably equal skill, authenticity, and enthusiasm, the Tussey Mountain Moonshiners ... move from bluegrass to old-time to folk/Americana.” Come see us and join the fun!
